Upcycle Sundays: Headbanger Edition

ALLLL ABOOOOAAARRRDDD! Hahahahahahaha!

Are you pumped for this week’s Upcycle Sundays? Turn up the Black Sabbath and get your scissors ready. The project I’m currently working on is a bit labor-intensive and should be ready for your Sunday morning viewing pleasure next week. BUT! Not to worry baby dolls. Last night I went to my beautiful metal-loving friends’ engagement party, and they are the inspiration for this entry.

Today we have a tutorial that I found on youtube by the beautiful Kat Von D. She teaches us how to make sexy, feminine tops out of those large men’s band t-shirts we have accumulated. And the excellent part is – there’s no  sewing involved! Enjoy!

We should! Omg. Funny story. Last night I was watching the local news, and their feature story was about a clothing swap party! Awesome, but also funny because they were a little too organize and anal about it. But yes we should definitely have a clothing swap/upcycle day. I went to a clothing swap with Kate and 4 of her friends once and it was awesome.
