Santa & I are Besties
Santa came to the Credit Union last Tuesday. I was his little helper. I think next year I’ll dress up a little more festively. At the end of the day, my face was sore from smiling so much. So many cute kids, some not-so-cute kids, and some really chatty adults. But you know what, it’s pretty amazing how happy Santa can make people. All in all, as Ice Cube says, “It was a good day.”
In other holiday related news, I made this yesterday to bring some Christmas cheer to my building. I was inspired by Elsie Cake, but made mine a little different. It took me about 2 hours. I just half-double crocheted for 3 rows, and voila!
Thursday Inspiration: Just Be You
I came back from lunch to find this on my monitor. Every now and then my lovely coworker will jot down an inspirational or thought-provoking message on a post-it and leave it with me. I really loved the one she left me today and wanted to share it. It is a quote from Jason Mraz’s blog Freshness Factor Five Thousand . In his post he ends this thought with “Just Be You.” I absolutely love it. Thank you, Katrina!
Where my mind took me today
So, as I sit here at my desk listening to LastFM, I often find myself discovering new bands that tickle my fancy. I also often find myself wandering off into music la-la-land and embarking on these really lame and random thoughts such as the following.
I decided to compile a list of band names that have something in common… the word “Club”. Excited? I bet you are. Most of these are real bands, with a few fictional ones tossed in the mix. Why not.
